Pultrusion is a continous process in which the glass fibres, glass matting and synthetic surface veil are lterally pulled simultaneously through a polyester or vinyl ester resin bath. the desired geometric shape is formed as they are pulled through a heated steel dir and as the composite hardens.
Customized Polyurethane Fiberglass Profiles are light weight, strong , chemical and UV resistance with less maintennance, Pultruded products are well suited for high corrosion environments and offers very high load bearing capacity.
We can produce many different series of frp pultruded products, customization is acceptable.
Polyurethane Fiberglass Profile Application
1. Electrical & electronics markets : Radome, insulation ladder, etc.
2. Chemical anti-corrosion markets : Handrail, undergrand pression pipe, stairs, etc.
3. Building construction markets : Oversize bridge protection closed system, movable house structure, working platform, window frame, window sash and its components,etc.
4. Foundation engineering markets : Freeway antiglare shield and its handrail, lamp post, water treatment, bracket for huge industry cooling tower, etc.
Qualification Certificates:
The following is the general manufacturing process of polyurethane fiberglass profiles:
1. Raw material preparation: Prepare raw materials such as polyurethane resin and fiberglass.
2. Fiber pretreatment: Conduct appropriate treatment on the fiberglass, such as sizing agent treatment, to enhance the binding with the resin.
3. Resin blending: Blending the polyurethane resin according to the formula and adding necessary additives, etc.
4. Fiber impregnation: Immerse the fiberglass in the blended resin through a specific device to fully impregnate the fibers.
5. Molding: Extrusion molding or other suitable molding methods can be used to extrude or mold the mixture of impregnated fibers and resin into the required profile shape.
6. Curing: Under certain temperature and time conditions, cure the resin so that the profile is shaped and acquires the required performance.
7. Post-treatment: Including processes such as cutting, grinding, and trimming to obtain the final polyurethane fiberglass profile product that meets the requirements.
