Fiberglass FRP Composite Profile (Pultrusion/FRP-GRP Sturctural Profile) for building & Cooling tower is a composite material which are light weight; rust-free; corrosion resistant and chemical compatible. (comply Fire Retardant/ Flame Resistant Standard to building standard are available upon request) Alternative material to replace steel structural shapes.
FRP pultrusion similar to extruded aluminum & steel or Wood shape profile for wide range of marine and other application.

Dimensional stability
FRP composite profiles behave similarly to most materials in that they expand and contract due to changes in temperature. The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) varies with the content and type of resin and reinforcement used, as well as with the direction of the fiber. Typically, the CTE of glass-fiber-reinforced unsaturated polyester resin is 14–22 x 10–6 in/in/o F (25–40 x 10–6 mm/mm/o C). Most carbon fibers have a negative CTE and the result is a contraction in the fiber when temperature is increased. However, a properly designed carbon/epoxy laminate can be manufactured with a zero CTE.

Fiberglass structural Profile production is a continous production process to produce fiberglass reinforced polymer profiles of any length and contstant section.Reinforce-ment fibers may be roving,continous mat,woven robing,carbon or others.The fibers are impregnated with polymer matrix (resin,minerals,pigments,additives) and passed through a pre-forming station that produces the stratification necessary to give the profile the desired properties,After the pre-forming step,the resin-impregnated fibers are pulled through a heated die to polymerize the resin.
